We are selling our beautiful property of approximately 121 acres (49 hectares). This can also be sold in separate lots.
The property, which has the formal name Chicta-Rumio Gualzay, is located in the Sustag sector, about 11 miles (18 km) from Cuenca. It adjoins the river Yanuncay, and is just off the road to Soldados.
At the moment, the driving time to the center of Cuenca is 40 minutes. In the next 12-18 months, the road will be substantially improved and this time should be halved to about 20 minutes.
The land is currently developed for dairy cows, featuring 49 acres (20 hectares) of pastures for grazing; these are watered with a sprinkler irrigation system. The cows are good quality milking cows, and there is a milking machine which produces 80-120 liters a day. The sale can be made with or without the cattle.
On the upper level of the property are two small houses, three storage sheds, three separate vegetable gardens (all of which are in excellent production), a large greenhouse (15 meters x 12 meters = 180 sq.m or 1900 sq.ft), chicken houses, and large fields for other animals.

The water is stored in a large open reservoir, as well as in four large tanks, each with a capacity of 2500 liters (660 gallons). Although there is electricity on the property, there is plenty of water for self-sufficient hydro-electric power.
There are 1100 meters (0.7 miles) of good road internally on the property, and all the infrastructure is well-developed. The phone line is connected for high-speed internet.
In addition, a substantial part of the land is untouched natural forest in a protected zone, which includes the waterfall. There are spectacular views from everywhere on the land, and there is plenty of space to build additional homes.
